Why Our School Holiday Tennis Camps Matter For Families In Matraville

School holidays are a reset. For kids, it is a chance to move, build confidence, and make new friends. For parents, it can be a juggling act.

A well-run holiday camp helps by giving your child:

  • Structured activity across the day (not just “free play”)
  • Skill-building through games that match their age and level
  • Consistency with a group, so they can settle in and progress

Our camps focus on helping kids experience tennis from a grassroots level, using age-appropriate coaching methods and equipment that supports confidence and technique development.

Our Camp Approach

We keep camp practical, energetic, and structured so kids stay engaged.

We start camp by getting kids comfortable, then grouping them with peers so they can progress together across the week. Staying with their group helps build confidence and momentum.

Camp kicks off with skills and drills, focusing on the building blocks kids need at their level.

As confidence grows, we move into point play, games, and matchplay so kids learn how to use their skills in real situations, not just in isolation.

Kids get regular breaks, including recess and lunch, plus drink intervals to stay hydrated.

The afternoon includes multi-sport games to keep energy high and support overall coordination and movement.

Each camp week finishes with a complimentary Friday BBQ and a round robin tournament, with trophies and prizes.
